Job work

Services

Two on-site job work programmes: protective conformal coating of assembled PCBs, and ESD conductive paint systems for the environment those boards are built in.

Conformal Coating Job Work

Application, UV optical inspection, curing, thickness testing, removal and final inspection, delivered on site by 30+ trained engineers.

Conformal Coating Job Work

Rather than supplying the coating and leaving you to run it, EMS puts trained engineers on your line and takes the whole process: operating the coating machine, application, UV optical inspection, touch-up, drying and curing, thickness testing, removal, reworking and final inspection. The team is 30+ trained B.Tech engineers, all trained under Lackwerke Peters, working at client locations across India.

  • Brush, spray, dip and automatic selective application methods
  • UV optical inspection of every board, with touch-up and re-check
  • Cure schedules run to the Peters datasheet for the coating used
  • Thickness measured and recorded, with rework where needed
  • 30+ trained engineers deployed on site at your own line

ESD Paint Job Work

ProtectA Pro ESD conductive and anti-static paints applied to floors, walls, work surfaces and bins, with earthing and resistance testing.

ESD Paint Job Work

On-site application of ProtectA Pro ESD conductive and anti-static paints across floors, walls, work surfaces, conveyor systems and polypropylene bins. Built on a conductive polymer matrix, the system gives a charge a controlled path to ground instead of letting it build until it discharges into a component. We prepare the substrate, lay earthing bonded to the facility ground, apply the topcoat and test the result.

  • Surface preparation, conductive primer and copper earthing
  • Floors, walls, benches, conveyors, bins and racking
  • Point-to-point and point-to-ground resistance testing on completion
  • Applied under your site’s own permit-to-work and safety procedures
